veja em http://xml.apache.org/xerces-c/build-winunix.html#UNIX

provavelmente o detalhe que esteja faltando seja na instalação do xerces, provavelmente falta definir as váriaveis de ambiente que determinam onde se encontra o xerces, faça o seguinte:

ao roda o ./configure do libepp utilize a opção:

./configure  --with-xerces-c=path/to/xerces

isto deve resolver o erro.

Estou tentando instalar a libepp-nicbr-1.2 em um servidor Whitebox Linux 4 (Copia Redhat Enterprise) e estou recebendo o seguinta erro:

configure: error: could not find xerces-c library. Maybe you could specify the correct path for xerces-c with the --with-xerces-c=DIR option.

Instalei o rpm xerces-c-2.7.0-1.2.el4.rf.i386.rpm que encontrei no RPMFIND e o erro continua exatamente igual após a instalação.

 

Alguém poderia me ajudar com alguma idéia do que poderia ser?
