[MASOCH-L] Dúvida referente a NTP

Senhores,

Ainda estou investigando o caso, então não tenho muitos detalhes.

Tenho alguns terminais com Ubuntu 12 LTS (32 bits) com o NTP configurado
para sincronizar o horário... acontece que esse terminal, por problemas de
infra ficou mais de 5hs sem rede, e sem motivo aparente o relógio adiantou
quase 5 horas.

A alguns meses tive o mesmo problema em outro terminal.

O que faz o NTP quando está sem rede? existe risco dele está causando essa
diferença de horário?
