No freebsd você pode usar a configuração nos arquivos do Módulo.
O pulo do gato e que no SFP você deverá colocar se tiver 2 sfp na Placa ou
Duas placas com 1 SFP você no mesmo arquivo
modprobe ixgbe allow_unsupported_sfp=1,1
ou
Com a linha:
/boot/loader.conf
hw.ixgbe.unsupported_sfp=1,1
Se você tiver duas placas com dois SFP
hw.ixgbe.unsupported_sfp=1,1,1,1
Bem estranho, mas foi assim que funcionou comigo.
Em algumas versões será no arquivo de configuração do Módulo a sintaxe é a
mesma.
