[Eppnicbr] Help com o pacote phpepp-nicbr

Olá...
 
Estou implantando o pacote criado pelo Cesar, de comunicação com o nic.br
 
Porém ao executar uma consulta simples de um determinado ID, ele não retorna
nenhuma mensagem:

Esta executando até: (do arquivo web.php)
$xml = $fmt->formatString($srv->getFrame($xml));
echo htmlentities($xml);
 
O Sistema operacional é o freebsd 6.1, tem o Pear instalado porem ao
executar "pear list" da o seguinte erro:
register# pear list

Será que é algum problema com os pacotes do Pear? ta faltando o XML_Parser ?
