Você tem suporte para o SLES11? Tentaram contato com eles?

Eu recomendaria tentar o OpenSuSE 10.2 nesse novo hardware para tirar a
"prova real"

Se temos um problema de software, ou incompatibilidade dos Os com o
hardware.
