Olá,

Obrigado por compartilhar essa informação. Eu estava, inclusive,
preparando um e-mail para o NIC.BR / Registro.br sobre esse assunto.

Recentemente, esbarrei justamente nessa limitação com a IP2Location,
que exige a publicação e a validação conforme as RFCs em questão
para atualizar corretamente as bases deles por meio do arquivo geofeed.
