Melhor em que sentido? Estabilidade? Features? Preço?

Só um detalhe: quando for comparar caixas, olhe o tamanho das tabelas, não só as portas. Por exemplo, a diferença da DM4001 para a DM4100 é brutal, e por isso mesmo a DM4100 é bem mais barata que a DM4001...   Se acaba o espaço em tabela CAM, seu tráfego morre (e a CAM é usada para a tabela de MAC+VLAN, para as FIBs IPv4 e IPv6, e para a MPLS label table).
